Overview: The General Manager of Florida International Terminal (FIT) is entrusted with the strategic leadership and management of the terminal, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, optimizing operations and driving sustainable growth. The General Manager will quickly become familiar with all facets of the business, taking responsibility and ownership for all financial and operational performance.
The General Manager will report to the CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America and the Chairmen the FIT Board of Directors and will collaborate with the corporate and terminal leadership teams to optimize business opportunities and achieve platform-wide synergies.
Location: Port Everglades, Florida
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of successful maritime operations experience leading up to a general management role with full profit and loss responsibility for a business with at least $50M in revenue. The ideal candidate will have experience in an asset-based marine terminal environment (containers) with oversight of union labor.

Respected leadership with strong credibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proven success achieving top and bottom-line results with strong financial acumen and ability to analyze, interpret and present financial reports.
Excellent commercial reputation with experience attracting new business and negotiating high value client contracts.
Experience deploying Six Sigma/Lean business process reengineering .
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, diplomacy and public speaking skills and ability to interact with terminal, customers, port, governmental and other key stakeholders.
