The Port of Stockton is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Engineering and Facilities to oversee all facets of infrastructure, facilities maintenance and operations, fleet management, and capital improvement projects. As the fourth largest port in California and its largest specialized bulk and breakbulk facility, the Port plays a vital role connecting Northern California and points inland with global markets, supporting regional economic growth and community development.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to include marine, civil, electrical, structural, and environmental engineers. This position is responsible for overseeing the asset management, engineering, facilities and maintenance, construction, and capital improvement projects and programs. Successful incumbent will be a strong leader, strategic thinker, and effective communicator. This is an at-will position, and the successful candidate will be subject to an employment agreement.
