Salary range is $183,660 - $293,844. Anticipated starting salary between $202,949 - $238,764 depending on qualifications.

The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for providing management and oversight for marine operations (including rail, roads, terminals, breakbulk operations, and management of the waterway) and maintenance department. This position will partner with key stakeholders, including labor leaders across the various operational sectors to deliver cost competitive and efficient operational solutions through utilizing a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach. The incumbent will effectively lead a team focused on providing exceptional service to alliance customers.

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, transportation, or a related field is required. MBA is preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ progressively responsible experience in ocean carrier, port and/or terminal operations, or other related industry is required. Extensive experience managing and supervising a department, work unit or team is also required. Experience and/or certifications in labor relations and contract negotiations preferred.
