Marine Electronics Technicians wanted to work under contract as Electronics Officers on ships in the U.S. Merchant Marine.  Preferred candidates will have a broad skills base that includes knowledge of radio, electronics, IT and/or engineering.  Some background in the maritime industry would be highly regarded.  Pay $25K/mo for ship time, six months of vacation/year, a benefits package which includes pension, medical, training plan, company-funded IRA, etc.   Will be deploying on ships, on oceans, worldwide.  Typical assignments are between 2 to 4 months.  The position of Electronics Officer in the Merchant Marine is a senior technical position and all candidates must be capable of working independently.&
