The Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team. This position will develop the strategic direction of the Information Technology (IT) Department and plan, organize, and direct the activities and operations of the IT Department, covering a broad range of functions including but not limited to, creating technical business systems and solutions to support operations while providing support to the PCCA organization.
The preferred candidate should be a strategic thinker, an organized, thorough, and disciplined individual with a focus on maintaining optimal integrity in support of the PCCA. They must possess the following: Ten (10) years management experience in Information Technology, development, implementation, operation, and support of Information Technology systems in an IBM Power 7 computer, VMware, SAN, File/Servers, SQL database applications, PCs applications and Network environment, LAN (Local-Area-Network), WAN (Wide-Area- Network) Wireless technology and Cloud Architectures.
Preferred background in accounting systems, Port operations, J. D. Edwards ERP Software, Port Traffic & Cargo System, and electronic document imaging software.
