The ideal Executive Director candidate will be experienced in working directly with an elected board and governing body. References will describe him/her as a trusted advisor to publicly elected officials and as a person with demonstrated skill working collaboratively with internal and external  stakeholders to energetically and effectively carry out the Port’s mission, plans, goals, and day-to-day operations. He/she will be highly responsive to the public, Port tenants, stakeholders, and Port staff. Strong candidates must have strong leadership skills and a willingness to fully commit to the community, the Port and its goals.
