The Port of Longview is recruiting to fill the position of Safety Program Manager. This position leads a coordinated effort to create and maintain a culture of safety resulting in safe work practices and the reduction of injuries and hazards to employees, customers and visitors. This position is responsible for identifying the risk and loss exposures facing the Port, evaluating and implementing appropriate risk control options and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create policies, plans and procedures related to injury prevention, employee safety and health, risk transfer, emergency response, natural hazard mitigation and business continuity. Prior work experience in a maritime cargo operations and/or rail environment highly preferred.
