Summary: The Port of Boston (Maritime Division of Massport) is seeking an experienced, executive level safety and security professional to join their team as Director of Maritime Security.
Reporting to the Port Director, the Director of Maritime Security directs the management and administration of all security activities at all maritime facilities including security rules, regulations, policies and procedures at Flynn Cruiseport Boston at Black Falcon Terminal, Conley Container Terminal, Seaport District, Fish Pier, East Boston Pier, Piers Park, Bremen St. Park and all non-aviation properties.
Location: Boston, MA
Required Qualifications & Experience: Ten years’ experience in a safety and security setting with at least 5 in a senior management role. Experience in safety and security administration in a maritime/port environment is required. Demonstrated skills working with senior level Federal, State and Local law enforcement officials is also required.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement, or related field or equivalent professional experience required. Master’s Degree preferred.
